KPI markets overview

Looking for conditional markets with funding decisions? See CFMs. KPI markets are unconditional and settle on an observed KPI.

What it is

KPI markets are simple, unconditional prediction markets. There is no decision rule and no funding rule (unlike CFMs). Traders buy UP or DOWN tokens to express a view on a metric's end‑of‑period value.

Initial scope

Monthly TVL (Total Value Locked) markets for Base, Arbitrum, and Unichain.

Note: Markets are curated by Butter; users cannot create new KPI markets in the app.

How they differ from CFMs

  • KPI markets: unconditional, single metric, resolves to an observed value.

  • CFMs: conditional on a decision (e.g., "if funded"), paired markets per proposal and a funding rule.
